The 2025 Competition

The Eastbourne International Singing Competition is a brand-new singing competition for classical singers aged between 18 and 30.  The inaugural event will be held from May 29th to June 1st, 2025 at the Birley Centre in Eastbourne. 

Applicants who are accepted into the First Round will perform a short programme of classical singing, accompanied on the Steinway grand piano.  Three official piano accompanists will be available and competitors may also bring their own accompanists.

Both First and Final Rounds will be held in front of a live audience and a panel of 4 competition adjudicators.  40 applicants will be chosen to compete in the First Round which will be held in 4 sessions over 2 days. 

12 competitors will move forward to the semi finals taking pace on Saturday 31st May, from this group 6 finalists will move forward to the final on Sunday 1st June

Tickets will be available for purchase on 1st January 2025
